The last update informed you that we were appealing Apple’s rejection which cite that Taposé was in violation of rule 10.4. The Apple review board has reached a decision and has found that Taposé is indeed not in violation of this rule. However, when altering the Slide Bar (removing the middle position to get Taposé approved and not break rule 10.4) we forgot to take the instructions for this out of the tutorial (we mentioned the word “middle” once when referring to the Slide Bar positions). Additionally, seems there was a coding error in the subscription in-app purchase which allows users can have unlimited collaboration (400mb comes free). I was informed that if we fix these two items, Taposé will be approved.
This is very good news and probably the best we could have hoped for. Nothing functionality wise needs to be changed on Taposé, which keeps all the sought after tools in place. The appeal was a great decision as it helped show that Taposé is not breaking the rule cited, and “SHOULD” not have an issue getting approved now. Only time was wasted, but seems it was worth it. We will be resubmitting today or tomorrow and will update more as soon as possible.
Thanks for your continued support in this long process. It has definitely not gone unnoticed.
Great news! Looking forward to using Taposé as soon as it is available!
This is excellent news, I have been waiting anxiously for Tapose, and look forward to downloading from the AppStore as soon as it is available. I am also quite pleased that no functionality had to be compromised to get approval…
Sounds awesome, looking forward for the official release. Make it real, Tapose and Apple.
Tapose, can you also make it compatible with iPen and Touch Jog.
That is the best news I have had all day with all the crappy weather here in the Renton/Seattle area I needed some good new today! Cant wait to get Tapose on my iPad!
Mike, I hear ya about the wether. I just bought Skyrim for Xbox and planning on hibernating the next day or so haha.
Good Plan, If that storm they say really comes in, I will be on Battle Field 3 All day tomorrow!, ANy news From Apple on when we will get Tapose in the App store?
Excellent Team…
Although this is good news for everyone supporting this app. You personally have done a fantastic job with not only this app’s creation, but in building a great and supportive following as well. That demonstrates leadership.
As we look forward to this app release and its future revisions, I am sure that I am not alone in wishing you all the best in all your future endeavors.
Good things should happen to good people.
Im glad the appeal went well and cannot wait to start using tapose!!
Please update as soon as it goes live in the app store.
Thanks!!!
Well, that’s good to hear! Simply a misunderstanding. I can’t wait to try it out!
Congratulations to the Tapose team. That’s great news not only for your followers, iPad users but in the end great for Apple. A fantastic app (currently) only available on the App Store!
I would say I’m just disappointed in some of the so called followers of Tapose that at the first sign of trouble jumped ship criticising the developers, the fundamental idea of the app and also even asking for their money back.
I know just who you mean.
I don’t know how a guy with an condemning attitude like that handles life. I found it appalling how he continued to rip in after one of the team tried appealing to him.
Where does he think the money went… The team had to take professional leave from Boeing. They needed funds to pay their rent/mortgage, electric, other utilities… Eating would be nice once in a while too – all while they worked on the app.
As I said earlier – $26000 for a couple of aerospace engineers is cheap. I don’t know how they did it.
Bemjamin,
Anymore news as to when the approval will come through and Taposé will be available on the app store? I was hoping to see it the last two days while I was trapped in my house.
It appears to me that this web site doesnt load up on a Motorola Droid. Are other folks getting the exact same issue? I enjoy this blog and dont want to have to skip it whenever Im away from my computer.
Welcome to my blogger investment advisor.
Im doing something of the same interest and will be taking note on this .Thanks.
Hearty congratulations to the Tapose team – great news and well deserved for their perseverance!
